Welcome to
St. William the Abbot School

St. William the Abbot School is a thriving elementary school providing a strong religious education teaching Catholic values and doctrine.  The faculty’s commitment to “Teach As Jesus Did” fosters in our students a deep sense of their own dignity, an appreciation of the sacredness of human life and the need to love and respect God, themselves, and others.  We instill in our students an appreciation and understanding of our Catholic heritage, traditions and identity.  This enables them to live their faith as the Church of today leading them to fulfill their mission of spreading the kingdom of God on earth.
St. William the Abbot School is committed to providing a learning community of technologically literate life-long learners.  Learners will have the opportunity to develop technological proficiency enabling successful interaction in the ever-changing world of technology.  We will continue to provide the best learning environments to develop, nurture and implement the way one communicates, works and learns.

From the Principal

Hello Everyone,

I know the last thing you want to see is a "Welcome Back" message from me!  I do hope you have all had a wonderful summer.............surely did go VERY fast.
I know you still have two weeks off, but since I come back tomorrow (8/23), I am ready-to-go and start the ball rolling.

As always, I look forward to seeing you all once again and hearing about your summer.  I especially welcome our new teachers:  Ms. Barbara Bentley (Gr. 6), Mr. Keith Fischer (Gr. 6),  Mr. Michael Yarosz (Gr. 7), and Ms. Lauren Gibbons (Gr. 8).  I know you will all welcome them with great SWS hospitality.

We start off with a new spiritual theme:  I am the Good Shepherd.......I know mine and mine know me.  As always, there will be signs all over the building to remind us and keep us focused on this theme.

I remind you once again that I am here to assist you in anyway I can..........do not hesitate to call if you need me or Mrs. Grimaldi or Mrs. McGrath.

Enjoy the days you have left.........see you soon................Mrs. G.
